Genuine Girling CP2696 Brake Caliper. Light alloy construction with anodised surface finish, and hard anodised brake pistons. Left or Right handed.
This caliper can be used as a replacement for the BSA, Triumph 60-4101 Lockheed cast iron caliper, and the Grimeca calipers.
The design supersedes the earlier CP2195 with improved fins for strength and cooling. Plus the caliper was lengthened slightly to give a bigger swept area on the disc.
Non-handed, therefore can be fitted to either side, left or right – to use on the oposite hand the bleed nipple just needs swapping over.
Notes: Does NOT fit the rear brake, on the T140 model, due to bracket interferance.
The hose bolt threads are M10x1 – bear in mind the stock Brit hoses are 3/8″ UNF on the standard Lockheed caliper – however this caliper is a replacement for the Lockheed race caliper CP2696 which were not fitted as OEM and will require hoses to be made to suit. To clarify – the standard hoses will not fit this caliper, you will have to get some made to fit.
Does not come with pads. We would recommend fitment of either 99-2769 or 99-2769CP Ferodo pads for the caliper.
