CAUTION:
Be extra careful when fitting this 3 Phase Stator to a bike where it was not standard fitment. The green resin on this stator protrudes out further than on the single phase stators and if fitted to models that did not come with this stator as standard you will need to remove some of the resin otherwise it will not fit as the pocket for the stator studs and/or nuts may be too small for your application.
The fix for this is to remove some of the green resin with a square drum dremel tool, carbide cutter or similar tool.
Slide the stator on as far as you can, then take off an look at the contact points. Remove a bit of material there and refit. Do this until the stator fits onto the studs without interference (ensuring there is enough to fit the nut with a narrow socket.
